Thankyou Mr. Asep

Thankyou Mr. Asep

Today i know several parts of my body organs, i know some chemical compounds in the world, i can solve a complicated math formula, and i can do many things that i can't when i was just a child. The reason that i can  do those things are my teachers. They teach me something that i can't do before and told me something that i didn't  know. Their only purpose is to teach me to be a succesful person even if i haven't do anything for them. And now i will tell you my gratitude to one of my teacher, Mr Asep.

Mr. Asep is a math teacher in my Junior High School, SMPN 2 Bandung. I spent my 7th and 8th grade with hating math. In that time, i think math is a difficult subject with a few beneficial, comparing with it's difficulties. But when i was 9th grade, i met Mr. Asep. His way of teaching already change my mind, that math is not as difficult as i think. Once we understand the concept, we will be able to finish any kind of question. Mr. Asep also told me many aplication of math. Because of him, i realized that most of problem in this world, can be solved with math. And maybe if i didn't meet Mr. Asep, i can't study at SMAN 3 Bandung like nowaday. Because i got 9.50 for math in my national test because of him.

So, i'd like to say thankyou for Mr, Asep, for your dedication to makes us a succesful person. And i just want to say that maybe i will  not being like today without your guidence  : )

DEWA ATHENA

DEWA ATHENA IX

Hi guys... It's been a long time since my latest post, and now I will be back with my great experience in my beloved school SMAN 3 Bandung. OSIS SMAN 3 Bandung have a program called "Dewa Athena". What is it ? Dewa Athena is an event in SMAN 3 that related with sport. It is a sport competition with a various kind of sport branch. Every class must have a representation of every sport. And then the representation of every class will compete against the another class. And the champion of every grade, will compete in the final, in another words the 32019 will fight against 32018.This event held on 23th, 24th of march (for the 11th grader) and 25th of March, 1th of April (for the 10th grader) and located in Lapangan Bali. The final will be held on 8th April. For Your Information, Dewa Athena is a tradition since 9 years ago in SMAN 3 Bandung. This year will be the 9th Dewa Athena (that is why they named it Dewa Athena IX) and honestly, i don't even know what is the meaning of Dewa Athena.

On last Saturday or 25th of March, the 10th grader feel this event for the first time. Every class must have a jersey as their mark to distinguish one class with another. I represent X Science 7 in several branch of sport, it is relay race, futsal, volley, and tug of war. WhenI arrived on Lapangan Bali, I am pretty surprised because it is just 5 male student including me that already arrived. I think my allmy friend feeling lazy because Dewa Athena was held on the weekend. Fortunately, my friends started to come one by one.

The first competition was relay race. Reperesentation of my class is Me, Adham, Nanette, and Karina. Our opponent is X Science 4. And we suceed to win. And we also win against the X Science 5, so we will compete again on the next 1th April. The next competition was futsal. Actually, I am not represent futsal, but because they are out of player, they invited me and it was an unforgetable moment (hahaha). Our opponent is X Science 6. Their class already well-knowns because of their great athletes. Especially the had Rofi. I know him since the Junior High School. He is one of the best football player in my Junior High School and my High School also. So they really beat us. We lose with 6-1 score. After that I got a rest for a minute, before finally I play the tug of war. Our first opponent is X Science 5 and fortunately we could win against them. But we lose when we compete against the X Science 8. Their personel were big, and our big personel didn't come to Dewa Athena. I think that is the reason why we lose. And my lasy competition was volley, but i didn't play for a long time bacuse because my serve and cover keeps fail. So Adham replaced me in volley and we win against X Science 9.

Well i think it is enough about my experience, and tomorrow is the second day of Dewa Athena.. Hope X Science 7 will be the champion :))

My Holiday

Honestly, i don't have many things to tell you about my holiday. Because i didn't go anywhere. Actually my family from Palembang came to Bandung. So i went to some West Java recreation place. But i didn't think that it is a good vacation. Because i am busy to prepare an event. That event is Musyawarah Besar PK.

I will tell you a little bit about PK. PK divided into three divisions, they are Planning Organizer, CEO, and Aspirator. My division Planning Organizer had a program called "Musyawarah Besar". Because we are still new in this organization, our senior, PK '018, gave us responsibilities to make this event. And i was forced to be the head of this event.

At the first time i am so scared. Because i am thinking about many problem. How can i collect money ? How can i get a place to stay for three days ? How can i get the siganture for proposal ? Will my friends in PK '019 help me ? But then, i found out that i have a good friends. They help me so i don't have to do the whole things by myself. Oh...i forgot to tell you about when this event was held. This event was held 6, 7, 8 January 2017, it is three days before the holiday is over (I just go back home yesterday and today already back to school). I think this event will be boring because i didn't get really well with my senior. And i think Musyawarah Besar isn't important. But i realize in these three days, we start to know further about each other. From this event we can know about how each other feeling, we can know how everbody think about us, and we can introspect to be a better person.  We are kidding together, eating together, watching movies together, and sleep in the same room. We feel that there is no boundary between us.  So, i think it is the most precious three days in my holiday.

Michel de Nostradame

Hello guys! Today I'm going to write a biography about Nostradamus. Here it is.

The French Seer

Childhood

Michel de Nostradame, more commonly known as Nostradamus was born on 14 or 21 of December 1503 in Saint-Remy-de-Provence in the south of France, Michel de Nostredame was one of at least nine children of Reyniere de Saint-Remy and Jaume de Nostredame. The latter's family had originally been Jewish, but Jaume's father, Guy Gassonet, had converted to Catholicism around 1455, taking the Christian name "Pierre" and the surname "Nostredame" (the latter apparently from the saint's day on which his conversion was solemnized).

Student Years

At the age 15, he entered University of Avignon for his baccalaureate, however he was forced to leave Avignon due to an outbreak of a plague. Nostradamus then traveled the countryside for eight years reasearching herbal remedies. Then, in 1529, at the age 26, he entered University of Montpellier to study doctorate in medicine. He then became an apothecary and become famous for creating a medicine to protect from the plague.

Seer

After another visit to Italy, he move away from medicine and toward the occult. Wrote an almanac in the year 1550 and was encouraged to write one or more annualy. Taken together, they are known to have contained at least 6,338 prophecies, as well as at least eleven annual calendars, all of them starting on 1 January and not, as is sometimes supposed, in March. He then began his project of writing a book of one thousand mainly French quatrains, which constitute the largely undated prophecies for which he is most famous today. The book was then published with the title Les Porpheties (The Prophecies)

A few examples of his prophecies that came true are, Nagasaki and Hiroshima atomic bombs.

Prediction:

"Near the gates and within two cities
There will be scourges the like of which was never seen,
Famine within plague, people put out by steel,
Crying to the great immortal God for relief."

What really happened: In early August 1945 the United States dropped two atomic weapons on the island of Japan, in (within two cities) Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The suffering endured by those in the blast and the radiation poisoning suffered by those who escaped the immediate detonation (Crying to the great immortal God for relief).

And, the 11th September 2001 terrorist attack.

Prediction:

"Earthshaking fire from the center of the Earth
Will cause tremors around the New City.
Two great rocks will war for a long time,
Then Arethusa will redden a new river."

What happened: On the morning of September 11, 2001 the two towers (two great rocks) of the World Trade Center were attacked in New York City (New City).

These are however, some, of his predictions that came true. There are also some of his predictions that have not/ does not come true, that might be delayed or won't happen at all. The rest of his prophecies are in the Les Propheties book.

Final Years and Death

By 1566, Nostradamus' gout, which had plagued him painfully for many years and made movement very difficult, turned into edema, or dropsy. On the evening of July 1, he is alleged to have told his secretary Jean de Chavigny, "You will not find me alive at sunrise." The next morning he was reportedly found dead, lying on the floor next to his bed and a bench. He was buried in the local Franciscan chapel in Salon but re-interred during the French Revolution in the CollŽgiale Saint-Laurent, where his tomb remains to this day.
